I am pretty pumped to say that my current project is GreenMyParents!  GreenMyParents is a step by step guide for kids that want to teach their parents to adapt green lifestyles. Parents, especially parents that are resistant want to hear how they can benefit from living sustainably. Well Green My Parents answers that question in over 200 pages! I have never seen Sustainable and Money connected this way before. The book covers topics like: energy conservation, water conservation, healthier lifestyles, etc. It makes sense! All of these topics have long term effects on our bills and if we conserve and are eating healthier we WILL save money! GreenMyParents releases on Earth Day, April 22, 2010. GMP should be a textbook for every math & economics class!

Currently GreenMyParents has GMP champions all over the country, I think we represent 12 states, but don’t quote me! When the book is launched we will have our call to action. We want 1 Million Youth to save $100 or more over the next year for their families. We want to show parents, politicians, celebrities, teachers, business owners, and old(er) people that economic recovery will ontlt come if we live sustainably, and it is very practical! The GMP team needs YOUR help with this. We are up for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Contest for $250k. Today is March 7, 2010 and by March 8, 2010 we need 2,500 votes. This can happen very easily, all you have to do is post this link to your Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Blog, Website, or Email and ask your friends to support this youth driven movement. The $250,000 will allow us to inspire a million youth to join us. We will be able to lead workshops all over America on how to teach your parents about saving money and going green. In addition we will be able to make Facebook applications that make it fun for kids & their families! Please vote everyday in March AND tell your friends to do the same. Thank you, your votes will prove that when youth come together we will accomplish the impossible.
